JAM privacy policy

Your practice stays on your device.

This policy covers JAM — just another metronome, provided by Exeme — and explains what happens when you use the app or contact us for help.

What the app collects

JAM is an offline metronome. The app does not collect or transmit personal data, usage analytics or advertising identifiers to us. It has no accounts, advertising or tracking SDKs. JAM plays synthesised audio and does not record from your microphone.

We do not receive, sell or share your app settings or saved presets.

What stays on your device

Your tempo, time signature, subdivisions, accents, sound, volume, appearance and keep-awake preferences are stored locally so JAM can restore your setup. Named presets are also stored locally.

These remain until you change or remove them, or delete the app. You can delete individual presets inside JAM. Deleting the app removes its local settings and presets; offloading the app may preserve them.

Device backups may include this data according to your Apple backup settings. Restoring a backup may restore it. You can manage backups through your device and Apple account settings. There is no JAM server-side account or developer-held copy of this app data to delete.

When you contact support

If you email cam@exeme.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as your message, device details or attachments. We use this information to respond and investigate your request. Please do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for support.

Support correspondence is handled through Exeme’s email service. The Exeme privacy policy explains our service providers, legal bases, international transfers, retention of enquiries and your data-protection rights. That handling is separate from the offline app, which does not send us your data.

You can ask about, correct or request deletion of information you sent to support by emailing us. We may need to retain information where a legal obligation applies.

When you visit this website

These pages are hosted on exeme.com. Visiting them involves website services such as hosting, security and cookieless analytics, as described in the website’s privacy policy. The website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Website technologies are not embedded in the JAM app.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy if JAM’s data practices change and show the revision date above.

JAM is provided by Exeme. For privacy questions or requests, email cam@exeme.com. Exeme’s business and data-controller details are in the Exeme privacy policy. For help using the app, visit JAM support.
